For more than 20 years, the Advance Weight Systems 800 Series of Turbine Blade Moment Balance Scales have been used by General Electric Aircraft Engine Group to balance all their large engines. This includes the CF6-6, CF6-50, CF6-80A, 80C2 and 80E1. Likewise, all the CFM56 series engines built by the SNECMA consortium have been built using our equipment. Engine blade manufacturers for General Electric and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft have been using our equipment to moment weigh and match their blades since the mid-70's. Finally, the U.S. Air Force uses our equipment for engine maintenance and overhaul for their fleet of large cargo aircraft.
