The AWS-485-SC-206 TWO CLASS CHECKWEIGH AND SORTING SYSTEM is fast becoming the industry standard where accuracy and trouble free operation are needed. With either a input slide chute, or a conveyor deliver the bags to the system, the AWS-485-SC-2CW-206-PS will deliver years of trouble free service in any application.
The operation of the system is simple and straightforward. The part is delivered to the input section of the system via an input slide chute, then moved to the scale hopper, weighed, and if CORRECT is moved off the scale with a tip of the scale hopper for further processing. If the AWS-485-SC Setpoint Controller determines the missing a part, the pre-selected acceptable limits causes a tip of the scale hopper in the other direction which moves it into the customer provided reject container. Depending upon the size of the smallest part in the bag, up to 20 bags per minute is possible with the high level of accuracy for which ADVANCE WEIGHT SYSTEMS is famous. As an example, a missing 10-32 nut can be detected in a bag of parts with a total weight of 2000 grams at 15 bags per minute.
The AWS-485-SC Setpoint Controller not only operates the various components, but also provides, in a single unit, statistical gathering & reporting and RS-232 or RS-485 serial interface to the customer's production control equipment or computer.
Available in several mounting configurations, these systems will fit into any manufacturing environment.
